S&B Under 13s are set for the first of two significant encounters with Rainford in 8 days that could well determine where both league and cup honours go this season.
With Rainford due to play fellow contenders Southport Trinity tonight (29th) and S&B playing Formby next Thursday, wins for both sides would set up a final day showdown on the 13th for the league title.
Before all of that though, the teams will meet in the Halliwell Trophy final, to be played at Rainford's ground on July 5th (18:30 start).
Both S&B and Rainford have strong line-ups, with several district representatives for Sefton and St. Helens respectively.
The game will be 20 overs a side, with bowlers limited to 4 overs each.
The S&B team would welcome as much support as possible, so please join us next Wednesday if you can.
