Welcome to the home page of the Southport & Birkdale Sports Club. 
Our Club was founded almost 150 years ago, originally as a cricket club before growing into the current multi-sports club with superb facilities.
Over many years, S&BSC has been particularly successful in encouraging the junior and youth sport which is the future of the Club. We enjoy a family friendly spirit both on and off the pitch.
The intention of this web site is both to inform the visitor and our members of our many activities. At S&BSC we have an open membership policy and invite enquiries from prospective members to either contact us at the relevant details published on this site, or just turn up at the clubhouse and ask either the first person you meet or our staff behind the bar.
I first joined the Club as a junior member and still get the same enjoyment out of playing all our sports.
